HQU offers 11 academic disciplines including Economics, Management, Science, Engineering, Arts, Medicine, Education, and such.

HQU has 41 state or provincial key disciplines, among which Engineering, Chemistry, Material Science, Computer Science and Technology rank the top 5‰ of the ESI world ranking; Environment/Ecology and Social Sciences rank the top 1% of the ESI world ranking.

Among undergraduate programs, there are 35 national-level ones and 17 provincial-level ones. In addition, 22 programs have international and domestic professional accreditation.

一、學(xué)校簡(jiǎn)介Introduction to HQU
?華僑大學(xué)位于中國(guó)福建省廈門(mén)和泉州，創(chuàng)辦于1960年。

1.文史類(lèi)和文理兼報(bào)專(zhuān)業(yè)須達(dá)到HSK5級(jí)或以上，理工類(lèi)專(zhuān)業(yè)原則上須達(dá)到HSK5級(jí)。漢語(yǔ)言、華文教育、全英文教學(xué)專(zhuān)業(yè)、語(yǔ)言預(yù)科班無(wú)HSK成績(jī)要求。
Applicants should reach HSK Level 5 to be qualified for arts programs or arts and science programs. In principle, applicants should also reach HSK Level 5 to choose science programs. The HSK certificate is not required for Chinese Language, Chinese Language and Culture Education, English-medium programs, and Language Preparatory Program.
2.漢語(yǔ)預(yù)科班：漢語(yǔ)水平未達(dá)到本科專(zhuān)業(yè)錄取條件的學(xué)生，按照“漢語(yǔ)+專(zhuān)業(yè)”培養(yǎng)體系，先修讀漢語(yǔ)預(yù)科班，通過(guò)一學(xué)年強(qiáng)化學(xué)習(xí)，全面提升漢語(yǔ)水平、專(zhuān)業(yè)知識(shí)儲(chǔ)備及跨文化交際能力，做好與國(guó)內(nèi)教育的銜接，結(jié)業(yè)后合格的，可銜接本科專(zhuān)業(yè)學(xué)習(xí)。
Chinese Language Preparatory Programs:
Students whose Chinese proficiency do not meet the admission requirements for undergraduate programs will first attend Chinese Preparatory Programs according to the “Chinese + Major” programs. Through one year of intensive learning, students will comprehensively improve their Chinese proficiency, professional knowledge and cross-cultural communication skills, and have their admission into the undergraduate programs once graduated.
3.大學(xué)預(yù)科班：設(shè)有文科和理科班，重點(diǎn)鞏固和提升高中知識(shí)水平。完成學(xué)業(yè)，綜合測(cè)評(píng)合格可直升我校本科專(zhuān)業(yè)。
Pre-University Programs:
There are classes for Liberal Arts and Science, focusing on strengthening and improving high school knowledge. Students who finish their studies and pass the comprehensive assessment can be directly admitted to HQU for undergraduate programs.
4.選讀術(shù)科專(zhuān)業(yè)（音樂(lè)學(xué)、舞蹈學(xué)、體育教育、美術(shù)學(xué)、產(chǎn)品設(shè)計(jì)、視覺(jué)傳達(dá)設(shè)計(jì)）的學(xué)生要求具有相應(yīng)的專(zhuān)業(yè)基礎(chǔ)，必要時(shí)將組織復(fù)核。
Applicants for the technical programs (including Musicology, Dance Studies, Physical Education, Fine Arts, Product Design, and Visual Communication Design) should have relevant skills. Extra technical tests will be arranged if necessary.
5.術(shù)科專(zhuān)業(yè)、全英文教學(xué)專(zhuān)業(yè)（國(guó)際學(xué)院三個(gè)專(zhuān)業(yè)）的學(xué)生入學(xué)后不可申請(qǐng)轉(zhuǎn)入其他普通類(lèi)本科專(zhuān)業(yè)，其他普通本科專(zhuān)業(yè)學(xué)生入學(xué)后亦不可轉(zhuǎn)入上述專(zhuān)業(yè)。
Students of technical programs and English-medium programs (the three programs of the International School) are not allowed to transfer to other programs, and vice versa.
6.表格列出專(zhuān)業(yè)為我校境外生推薦就讀專(zhuān)業(yè)，最終招生專(zhuān)業(yè)以報(bào)名系統(tǒng)可選專(zhuān)業(yè)及實(shí)際成班情況為準(zhǔn)。學(xué)校為目錄專(zhuān)業(yè)制定專(zhuān)門(mén)的培養(yǎng)方案，其他不在目錄的專(zhuān)業(yè)，不專(zhuān)門(mén)編制境外生培養(yǎng)方案。
Above are the recommended programs for international students. Please refer to the admission application system to see the programs available. Special teaching syllabuses are designed for the above programs but not for other programs not listed.
7.學(xué)校部分專(zhuān)業(yè)實(shí)行“1＋3”兩校區(qū)融合式培養(yǎng)，即第一學(xué)年及后續(xù)學(xué)年分別在不同校區(qū)學(xué)習(xí)。報(bào)到校區(qū)以學(xué)校最終安排為準(zhǔn)。
Some programs above adopt “1+3” integrated talent cultivation across two campuses; that is, students spend the first and subsequent academic years in different campuses. Please refer to the final registration notice to check the registration campus.
三、招生辦法Application Process
（一）報(bào)名條件 Eligibility
凡具有高中畢業(yè)文化程度（須為學(xué)歷教育），品行端正、身心健康、成績(jī)優(yōu)秀的外國(guó)留學(xué)生（持外國(guó)護(hù)照，且不能同時(shí)擁有中國(guó)國(guó)籍），年齡原則上不超過(guò)22周歲，均可報(bào)名。
International applicants (holding passports of foreign countries and shall not have Chinese nationality at the same time) should be no more than 22 years old, with a senior high school diploma or an equivalent academic one, outstanding grades, good physical and mental health, good behavior, and a clean criminal record.
根據(jù)《教育部關(guān)于規(guī)范我高等學(xué)校接受?chē)?guó)際學(xué)生有關(guān)工作的通知》（教外函〔2020〕12號(hào)）規(guī)定，若學(xué)生為祖國(guó)大陸（內(nèi)地）、香港、澳門(mén)和臺(tái)灣居民在移民并獲得外國(guó)國(guó)籍后申請(qǐng)作為國(guó)際學(xué)生進(jìn)入我高等學(xué)校本專(zhuān)科階段學(xué)習(xí)的，或父母雙方或一方為中國(guó)公民并定居在外國(guó)，本人出生時(shí)即具有外國(guó)國(guó)籍的，不具有中國(guó)國(guó)籍的，還應(yīng)持有有效的外國(guó)護(hù)照或國(guó)籍證明文件4年（含）以上，且最近4年（截至入學(xué)年度的4月30日前）之內(nèi)有在外國(guó)實(shí)際居住2年以上的記錄（一年中實(shí)際在外國(guó)居住滿(mǎn)9個(gè)月可按一年計(jì)算，以入境和出境簽章為準(zhǔn)）。
In accordance with Chinese Ministry of Education’s Regulations on Recruiting International Students for Higher Institutions, any applicant who has immigrated from China (including Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan) to foreign countries, or who has acquired foreign nationality at birth because one or both of his/her parents are Chinese nationals settling abroad, should has hold the valid foreign passport or nationality certificate for more than 4 years (including 4 years), and should has lived in the foreign country for more than 2 years (living for 9 months in the foreign country per year can be counted as 1 year) within the latest 4 years (before April 30th of the year of enrollment).

（二）入學(xué)方式 Ways of Admission
1.申請(qǐng)審核入學(xué) Admission Application for International Students
具有海外高中學(xué)習(xí)經(jīng)歷并取得畢業(yè)證書(shū)的外國(guó)留學(xué)生，通過(guò)華僑大學(xué)境外生網(wǎng)上報(bào)名系統(tǒng)（https://admissions.hqu.edu.cn/）提交個(gè)人申請(qǐng)資料，經(jīng)審核符合條件者予以錄取。申請(qǐng)時(shí)間：即日起至2024年6月1日，未在規(guī)定時(shí)間內(nèi)補(bǔ)充完整材料的，視為放棄申請(qǐng)資格。需提交的個(gè)人材料如下：
International students holding overseas high school diplomas shall submit personal application documents through the online application system (https://admissions.hqu.edu.cn/). Those who meet the requirements will be admitted after review. Application deadline: June 1st, 2024. Those failing to provide complete materials within the specified time will be regarded as giving up their application qualifications. Documents needed are as follows:
（1）在報(bào)名系統(tǒng)填寫(xiě)個(gè)人完整信息及有效聯(lián)系方式。
Complete personal information and valid contact information in the application system.
（2）學(xué)生本人護(hù)照身份頁(yè)（護(hù)照有效期應(yīng)在2025年10月及之后）及一寸彩色免冠證件照（照片用于學(xué)籍注冊(cè)，不得PS，不得遮擋眉毛耳朵等面部位置，電子版需為清晰的JPG格式文件）。
Passport ID page (passport validity should be on or after October 2025) and one-inch color photo in clear JPG format. The photo is for enrollment registration. Any retouch of the photo is not allowed. There shall be no covering of any facial parts including eyebrows, ears.

（8）根據(jù)《教育部關(guān)于規(guī)范我高等學(xué)校接受?chē)?guó)際學(xué)生有關(guān)工作的通知》（教外函〔2020〕12號(hào)）規(guī)定：
祖國(guó)大陸（內(nèi)地）、香港、澳門(mén)和臺(tái)灣居民在移居外國(guó)后的留學(xué)生，需提交①中國(guó)國(guó)籍或戶(hù)籍注銷(xiāo)證明；②加入外國(guó)國(guó)籍證明；③近四年出入境記錄（截至2024年4月30日前）。
在外國(guó)出生即取得外國(guó)國(guó)籍的申請(qǐng)人，父母雙方或一方為中國(guó)公民的，需提供①申請(qǐng)人出生即取得外國(guó)國(guó)籍證明；②申請(qǐng)人出生前父母（中國(guó)公民方）在外國(guó)的永久居留證明；③近四年出入境記錄（截至2024年4月30日前）。
In accordance with Chinese Ministry of Education’s Regulations on Recruiting International Students for Higher Institutions, any applicant who has immigrated from China (including Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan) to foreign countries should submit (a) Chinese nationality cancellation certificate; (b) Certificate of foreign nationality; (c) Entry and exit records for the latest 4 years (until before April 30th, 2024) issued by the Exit-Entry Administration Bureau. Any applicant who has acquired foreign nationality at birth because one or both of his/her parents are Chinese nationals settling abroad, should submit (a) Certificate of foreign nationality at birth; (b) Proof of permanent residence of his/her parents (Chinese citizens) in the foreign country before the applicant’s birth; (c) Entry and exit records for the latest 4 years (until before April 30th, 2024) issued by the Exit-Entry Administration Bureau.
2.考試入學(xué) Entrance Examination for International Students
符合條件的學(xué)生可參加“暨南大學(xué)、華僑大學(xué)聯(lián)合招收港澳臺(tái)和華僑、華人及其他外籍學(xué)生入學(xué)考試”，報(bào)名網(wǎng)址https://lxlz.jnu.edu.cn/。
International students can register to take the Joint International Admissions Examination by Jinan University and Huaqiao University for Hongkong, Macao, Taiwan, Overseas Chinese Students and Foreign Students. Please log on https: //lxlz.jnu.edu.cn/ to submit the application for examination.
報(bào)名時(shí)間為每年3月份，考試時(shí)間為每年5月份，以具體通知為準(zhǔn)。
Registration for the examination is scheduled in every March, with examination started in May.
3.報(bào)到流程 Registration Process
（1）我校將及時(shí)審核學(xué)生報(bào)名材料，并將問(wèn)題在報(bào)名系統(tǒng)上反饋。已錄取的學(xué)生，可在報(bào)名系統(tǒng)上下載“錄取通知函”。
HQU reviews the application documents and provides feedback through the application system. Students admitted can download the “Admission Notice” through the application system.
（2）我校為錄取的學(xué)生發(fā)放錄取通知書(shū)、JW202表等材料。
HQU issues Admission Notice, JW202 Form and other materials to students admitted.
（3）學(xué)生持相關(guān)材料到中國(guó)駐所在國(guó)使領(lǐng)館辦理X1學(xué)習(xí)簽證。
International students should apply for X1 visa at Chinese Embassy/Consulate in the host country with the Admission Notice and JW202 Form.
（4）學(xué)生按錄取通知書(shū)規(guī)定時(shí)間報(bào)到入學(xué)。
Students should register at the time specified in the Admission Notice.
注：新生入學(xué)后，我校有權(quán)利隨時(shí)對(duì)其體檢結(jié)果及個(gè)人身份條件進(jìn)行復(fù)核，不符合入學(xué)規(guī)定的，我校將取消其入學(xué)資格。
